The Hand Grip Strap with Arca-Style Quick Release Plate from Vello assures a constant, firm grip on your DSLR or mirrorless camera while you're out shooting. The strap fits around your hand so you can maintain a firm and secure grip on your camera as you're moving around. The supple leather strap adjusts to your hand and features an extra security strap around your wrist to let the camera hang securely when you're walking through the country or around the city. This strap assures you'll always be ready when you see that perfect shot because all you need to do is raise the camera to eye level and shoot.

The hand strap attaches to your camera's 1/4"-20 tripod socket, and features an Arca-style quick release baseplate which can mount to a tripod or head when you need more support. The ergonomic strap is padded for comfort during extended use. If your hand becomes fatigued, a shoulder or cross-body strap may be easily attached to the fold-down eyelet on the baseplate.

DSLR and mirrorless cameras

Conforms to Your Hand

The adjustable straps let the PGS-P conform to the size and shape of your hand, allowing for minute adjustments that ensure your fingers rest on the camera in their natural position. The comfortable, customized fit means all you need to do is raise the camera and shoot.

Security Wrist Strap

For added security, the removable wrist strap also adjusts to your hand and wrist. You can relax your hand while you're not shooting, the PGS-P will stay securely attached to your hand and wrist without leaving the camera to dangle perilously.

Arca-Style Quick Release Plate

The PGS-P features an Arca-style baseplate that attaches to your camera via a 1/4"-20 mounting screw. This plate lets you swiftly mount your camera to an Arca-compatible tripod head or quick release receiver when you need more stability for your exposure.

Shoulder Strap Option

A folding eyelet on the baseplate allows you to attach a shoulder or cross-body strap for when you need both hands to carry or move gear, then folds out of the way when not in use.

Access to Camera Controls and Compartments

Access all of your camera's controls, plus have unobstructed access to your camera battery and memory card compartments without having to remove the PSG-P.
