It has a three-position click-stop turret with 4x, 10x, 40xR achromatic objectives and comes with 10x eyepieces for 40x to 400x magnifications. An adjustable-intensity halogen bulb under the stage provides the necessary illumination, and the manually adjustable iris ensures the right amount of light and beam spread to illuminate the specimen without washing it out.
