Improve the audio quality of your camera or compatible mobile device using the Smith-Victor CM2 Compact Shotgun Microphone. Its compact and lightweight design makes it perfect for vlogging and content creation on the go. The included 3.5mm TRS and 3.5mm TRRS cables ensure seamless connection to DSLR/mirrorless cameras, camcorders, smartphones, tablets, and laptops.

Powered by plug-in power from your device, the CM2 is a straightforward, reliable microphone with no controls or switches to worry about. Its cardioid pickup pattern effectively reduces unwanted background noise by focusing on the sound in front of the mic. For added versatility, the detachable shockmount features a cold shoe and an integrated 1/4"-20 mounting thread, allowing you to easily mount the mic on your camera, tripod, or boompole. A foam windscreen for indoor use and a furry windshield for outdoor shoots reduce swing swooshes and light-wind noise without compromising audio capture.
