The 10" Flextube 250P SynScan GoTo Collapsible Dobsonian Telescope from Sky-Watcher is a precision-engineered instrument that will allow you to easily find and enjoy viewing night sky treasures such as planets, the moon, nebulae, star clusters, galaxies, and much more. With its patented collapsible tube design, this Dobsonian excels in portability and performance, which is crucial when traveling to dark skies to make the most of these large telescopes.

The Sky-Watcher Flextube 250P 10" GoTo Collapsible Dobsonian Optical Tube Assembly is designed to give users great performance at a reasonable price. Its large parabolic primary mirror is treated with a Radiant Aluminum Quartz (RAQ) coating that brings its reflectivity to over 94%, with a secondary mirror obstruction of just 6% by area. Unlike traditional Dobsonians that tend to be bulky and unwieldy, the Flextube's patented truss design enables it to retract to just 31.5" for easier transport and storage, and then extends to 44" for observation.

The large 10" aperture draws in copious amounts of light to resolve deep-sky objects like wispy nebulae and galaxies, while also revealing details of the lunar surface and planetary features. Included are 10 and 25mm 1.25" eyepieces, as well as an adapter so 2" eyepieces can be used.

Featuring Teflon bearings for smooth slewing and a patented tension control to lock in on the target of your observation, this Base for 250P SynScan GoTo Collapsible Dobsonian Telescope makes it easy to aim your compatible optical tube assembly. The base assembly is outfitted with Sky-Watcher's proprietary Tension Control Handle to increase or decrease the friction between the optical tube and sideboards. This floor-based mount measures 30 x 20", and weighs 39 pounds.
