Featuring twelve drive bays equipped with 12 x 24TB SATA III 3.5" hard drives and four M.2 2280 SSD slots equipped with 2 x 2TB NVMe SSDs, this array has a total storage capacity of 292TB and uses a hardware-based controller that supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60 configurations, while operations are kept cool using intelligent cooling. Connectivity to your host system is established using an 80 Gb/s Thunderbolt 5 port, which provides up to 85W of power, while two additional Thunderbolt 5 ports provide 15W of power and are available for daisy-chaining, including adding three 4K displays, dual 6K display, or one 8K display. The Pegasus5 R12 Pro is compatible with Windows 11 and macOS 15 or later and included is a 3.3' Thunderbolt 5 cable and a power cord.

Please note that the M.2 drives may only be used for storage. They may not be configured as a data cache or included as part of the HDD RAID set. Under Windows, the M.2 drives support RAID 0, 1, and 5, while support on Mac is limited to RAID 0 and 1.
