The 500W/s PowerLights offer full power recycling in only 1.5 sec. and a fast flash duration of 1/1,300 sec. that stops action on kinetic subjects like dancers or athletes. The bright 250W modeling light facilitates focusing and pre-visualization of the lighting effects from the included 24 x 32" softbox and 45" umbrella. The PowerLight's 5V trigger voltage is safe for all digital cameras. The kit also includes 2 eight foot light stands, flash tubes, an umbrella reflector power and sync cords. It all fits in the included partitioned, wheeled carrying case.

Power settings are adjustable in 1/10 or ½ stop increments across 6 stops. The bright 250W modeling light can be set to Proportional to let you previsualize your final shot when using multiple lights. Other settings include Full On, OFF and manual control of the modeling light output.

The PL1250DRC recycles to full power in a lightning-fast 1.5 seconds with short flash durations that help you stop every gesture, an attribute which is extremely valuable when working with kinetic subjects like dancers or athletes. The color corrected flash tube prevents blue hues from creeping into the color balance on subjects like a bride in her wedding dress. The tube also insures a flattering skin tone rendition.

The interior is silver, for a little extra snap to the light. The spring tension rods fit easily into the softbox and into the included Photogenic speed ring. The front panel is touch-fastener fitted, allowing you to place the panel at the edge or 1.5" into the box for improved light direction.
