It features a 90° notch for rapidly switching from landscape to portrait orientation. The panning base offers silky-smooth motion and has a 360° scale etched into the surface to ensure accurate positioning for panoramic photos. An independent pan locking knob secures the head in place for static imaging. The main locking knob has ratchet action that allows the head to be operated and the camera position adjusted without being obstructed by your camera or tripod, so you can quickly re-aim without unmounting your camera.
