Product highlights and buying context
The LH-55NN No Neck Ball Head from Leofoto features an Arca-type quick release system for securing a DSLR, mirrorless, or video camera up to 55 lb. With a height of 3.5" and a large ball diameter of 2.2", this ball head's unusual no-neck design makes it suitable for target shooting in addition to general photographic applications.
The head offers 360° panning with an independent locking knob and a numbered scale on the panning base for precise, repeatable setups. This head is designed without a neck under the quick release set for added stability and a lower profile, but the range of movement is reduced and vertical alignment is not available. Made of anodized aluminum for durability, and with a weight of a mere 1.8 lb, this compact head is made for travel.
