With remarkable load capacity for its size and smooth strain wave gearing, the HAE43C-EC Dual Alt-Az / Equatorial Mount with High-Precision RA Encoder from iOptron will point your optic or camera to the wonders of the cosmos. Utilizing strain wave drive technology for RA and DEC movement, it supports a payload up to 55 pounds with a counterweight or 44 pounds without one.

The mount can be controlled by computer via the USB-C port, running ASCOM/Commander for a Windows PC or a third party INDI driver for a Mac OS software, but can also be operated by using an optional 8411 handset. The HAE43C-EC features a high-precision RA axis encoder that tracks so accurately that imaging without guiding is often an option.
