Ice Slim 6 x ND Filter Set with Wallet (72mm)

How to Use ND Filters: An Introduction Read More

This 72mm SSlim 6 x ND Filter Set with Wallet from ICE combines six popular neutral density filters in a versatile set, complete with a storage wallet to keep them organized and protected. A neutral density filter provides finer control over an exposure for by allowing a wider aperture to be used in order to reduce depth of field to help the subject of the image to stand out. In addition, it can be used to use a longer shutter speed to increase image blur and enhance the sense of a subject's movement. When shooting video it allows finer control over setting a camera's frame rate.

These filters are made of optical glass with 8 layers of multicoating on each surface, to minimize flare and glare and optimize light transmission without adding a color cast. The coating is also waterproof to prevent beads of water from building up on the filter surface, and for easy cleaning. The 72mm aluminum frame has a slim design that can be used on wide-angle lenses without vignetting. The front of the filter ring is threaded to allow the filters to be stacked for increased density, or to add a hood or other accessory.
