Powered by a 4.0 GHZ AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9975WX 32-Core processor and 64GB of 6400 MHz DDR5 ECC RAM, which can be upgraded to 1TB, the Z6 G5 A can easily handle demanding professional and memory-intensive workloads. For storage of your files, this system is equipped with a 1TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD with an M.2 2280 form factor. If you want to add external storage drives, optical drives, printers, memory card readers, or other peripherals, there are ten 5 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one of which supports device charging. For users who wish to add additional components to the drive bays, the Z6 G5 A features two PCIe 5.0 x4 and two PCIe 4.0 x4 slots for M.2 storage, a 3.5" SATA drive bay, and an external 5.25" drive bay that can accommodate four M.2 drives using a CRU carrier. Additional internal expansion may be accomplished using four PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot, and one PCIe 4.0 x4 slot.
No integrated or dedicated graphics are included with this system, allowing the user to select a dedicated graphics card of their choice. The Z6 G5 Series Tower Workstation includes a USB keyboard, a USB mouse, a power cord, and a 1-year subscription to HP Wolf Pro Security Edition. The installed operating system is Windows 11 Pro for Workstations (64-bit).
