Golden Age Project GA-8000 PSU Boutique Microphone Power Supply

TheGA-8000 PSU Boutique Microphone Power Supply is a modernized update to the classic power supply fromGolden Age Audio, using solid state instead of tube technology while still using a FET-based (field effect transistor) stabilizer for the high-voltage rail. Star-grounding techniques improve the signal-to-noise ratio in comparison to the original.

Part of the Golden Age Premier series, audiophile-grade PCB design components are used in construction, including oversized copper traces for maximum electrical transmission and Elna capacitors for reduced microphonics and vibration. The final product is a natural capture of the source sound with improved signal processing and lower equivalent series resistance (ESR), improving efficiency and reducing heat, thus extending the lifespan of the capacitor and related components.
