Bosch DICENTIS DCNM-IDESKVID Interpreter Desk with Video Output

The Bosch DICENTIS DCNM-IDESKVID Interpreter Desk with Video Output is a single-user interpreting station designed for intuitive, ergonomic operation. Its clearly positioned controls help reduce operating mistakes, while the interface presents only relevant information, so interpreters can view the information needed for the interpreting process at a glance. The desk supports up to 100 languages and fully complies with ISO 20109. This version of the desk also features a video output on an HDMI connector for use with a third-party screen.

Designed for flexible interpreter booth configurations, the DCNM-IDESKVID supports up to ten desks per booth and offers hot plug-and-play operation. Automatic external headset microphone selection simplifies headset use, while hearing protection is provided for predefined headphones and headsets. Tactile feedback is available for all controls, with audible feedback and tactile pimples supporting visually impaired users. Language and system settings can be accessed directly from the interpreter desk's configuration menu.

A high-contrast 7-inch display provides access to language selection and status information; in addition this version of the desk also features a standard HDMI video output connector, allowing you to attach a wide variety of third-party monitors to show the participant speaking or to display the participant’s presentation.

Seven relay language preset buttons indicate the selected preset along with language number, abbreviation, and quality. Dedicated A, B, and C language output controls display output selection and state as well as language number, abbreviation, and engaged status. A language overview function displays the quality of all available languages, while a rotary control with integrated push button provides convenient adjustment of settings. Additional display information includes a real-time clock, selected loudspeaker language, audible feedback status, and microphone or external headset selection.

Dedicated physical controls include rotary adjustments for headphone volume, bass, and treble, along with a separate loudspeaker volume control. Floor/auto-relay selection, microphone, and mute buttons provide direct access to essential interpreting functions. LED indicators show floor/auto-relay status, red microphone on-air status, and green "booth not in use" status, while an additional red on-air LED is positioned at the rear of the desk.

In addition to the HDMI video output, three 3.5mm TRRS headphone/headset sockets are located on the left, right, and bottom sides for flexible audio connections. Two RJ45-compatible connections carry system communication and power, supporting loop-through cabling with DICENTIS System cables or star cabling using standard Cat 5e or better cables and PoE+ switches.
