Betso BOWTIE Wideband Omnidirectional Antenna for Sound Bag (470 to 700 MHz)

The Betso BOWTIE is a compact, wideband omnidirectional antenna designed specifically for use on sound bags. Covering the 470–700 MHz range with a built-in 700 MHz low-pass filter, it delivers flawless reception in today’s crowded RF environments. With IP65-rated sealed construction, the BOWTIE ensures reliable performance indoors and outdoors, making it a dependable choice for location sound professionals.

Unlike standard whip antennas with narrow tuning, the BOWTIE operates across a broad 470-700 MHz spectrum, so there's no need to swap antennas when working with multiple wireless systems. Its integrated 700 MHz low-pass filter eliminates interference from LTE, 3G, GSM, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth signals before they reach the receiver, reducing intermodulation and preserving wireless range.

Every BOWTIE ships with all the accessories needed for immediate use: a bag antenna holder plus 11.8" BNC-BNC and BNC-SMA (RA) cables for easy connection to receivers or multicouplers. The adjustable and foldable holder is compatible with nearly all professional sound bags-especially solid-frame designs like ORCA and K-Tek-ensuring a secure, rock-solid fit.

Built from CNC-milled anodized aluminum and glass-reinforced epoxy laminate with a scratch-resistant finish, the BOWTIE is lightweight at just 0.2 lb. and compact at 6.7 x 4.4 x 0.55". Precise sealing protects against dust and water ingress, guaranteeing long-lasting durability on demanding productions.
