Apogee Electronics ClipMic digital 2 Lavalier Microphone Kit with 2 x Mics and Atomos UltraSync Bluetooth Timecode Sync

Designed for vlogging, streaming, remote work, podcasting, and more the Apogee Electronics ClipMic digital 2 upgrades the original microphone's design to give you a clean sound in a versatile form factor. This lapel mic connects directly to iOS devices, Android devices, and computers thanks to the included USB and Lightning cables.

The capsule itself has been reinvented to give you a lower noise floor for a sound even cleaner than the original. Conversion is handled by Apogee's famous 96 kHz/24-bit converters, which should speak to the quality of this device. In addition to all the USB and Lightning cables, a metal windscreen, foam windscreen, mic clip, and carrying pouch are included.

Perhaps the most exciting development for the ClipMic digital 2 is the system of interchangeable cables. Lightning, USB-C, and USB-A cables are on hand for plug-and-play compatibility with Android, iPhone, iPad, macOS, and Windows.

A new, custom microphone capsule, smaller for better positioning, delivers a 10 dB lower noise floor than its predecessor. This translates to cleaner recordings.

One of the most important benefits of ClipMic digital 2 is that it allows you to put a microphone closer to the sound of your voice. A video is only as good as the audio you hear with it and if you are a vlogger, interviewer, lecturer, student, teacher, or anyone making a personal video, ClipMic digital 2 brings the microphone to you for the best sound and lets you position your camera where it needs to be for the best shot.

The capsule sports an omnidirectional polar pattern to ensure consistent audio pickup and minimal proximity effect. What does this mean? Placement on your person or on a subject is relatively easy. An integrated Apogee ADC delivers pristine signal conversion at up to 24-bit/96 kHz resolution—the same specifications used throughout pro-recording environments.

Working online? Apogee's ClipMic digital helps you make a great impression and keeps you in the conversation. With ClipMic digital 2, you can depend on high-quality audio communication when meeting virtually with clients, colleagues, or a potential employer. The professional microphone capsule captures speech clearly, and the studio-quality Apogee converters pick up every detail, so you can work from home or anywhere and communicate with clarity. ClipMic digital 2 is also easy to set up, no software required.

It has never been easier to produce and share your own videos on YouTube or Instagram. iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch all include a built-in camera with quality that exceeds that of expensive video gear from only a few years ago. Now you can connect ClipMic digital 2 for incredible sound quality too, creating the ultimate mobile video solution simple enough for anyone to use.
