The filter has the strongest effect/heaviest density at the outer edge of the filter, lessening-to-no ND effects at the center of the filter. This rotatable filter allows you to mount the filter on your lens and then align the graduation effect so you can photograph scenes with large bright areas, such as the sky, to achieve better cloud detail and color saturation, while maintaining proper exposure for your subject. Made of optical glass, each side of this glass features a waterproof, scratch-resistant, and oilproof coating, and the glass is polished to be flat on both sides so you can use it on wide-angle to telephoto lenses.

The filter is made of ultra-slim aviation aluminum glass with a non-slip CNC design. It easily installs on the lens with no vignetting or dark corners, even on wide-angle and telephoto lens.

The GND places the most density at the edge of the filter and tapers to clear by the center of the filter in order to accommodate photographing scenes with large, bright areas such as daytime sky.
